Surviving in nature

There are different tribes or aboriginal people or is more commonly called in Malay language as Orang Ulu that are living nearby the rivers in Sarawak, Borneo. This photo shows the ‘storeroom’ in a Kenyah family and it was taken because it shows many aspects of the life of the Orang Ulu. Can you tell me what are these ways of living just by looking at the photo? I like the plastic bag too because it shows the modern element is invading the life in the village. Is this good or bad?
